Experimental · playable above
Uncertainity.dev
A few minutes in the dark, learning something true about the place you are standing in.
Yes, that spelling. “Uncertainity” is a typo that got registered, noticed, and kept. It is a corrupted measurement that persisted — which, given the subject, was too on the nose to correct.
New episodes, now and then
Episode 1 is playable now. More arrive from time to time — geography, current affairs, whatever turns out to be worth walking through. One email when one lands, and nothing else. No tracking pixels, no drip sequence, one-click unsubscribe.

What this is
Uncertainity is an experimental game, and Episode 1 is playable above. It gives you the country you are actually in, drawn from its real coastline, and starts you in the dark: nothing exists until you have been near it. Six things that are true about that country are hidden in its towns, and a seventh comes from what the world wrote about the place today. One of them will not be what you expected.
The interesting part is underneath. Every country, town and measurement is a node in a published graph — inspectable, hash-verified, appended to and never rewritten — rather than content typed into game code. It is published at /kg/manifest.json, and every country in it has a page of its own showing what is measured there, and who measured it.
New episodes arrive from time to time rather than on a schedule. Built with PinePaper Studio.
